In this class, the teacher will learn how to adapt the 5 C's--Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Citizenship--into his/her professional teaching scenarios that can build a positive learning culture in the classroom environment. We will develop classroom lesson plans for cultivating students' skills applying the 5 C's while exploring projects to improve effectiveness in team and individual problem solving that requires creativity for optimal solutions. Additional topics which will be studied include: growth and fixed mindsets, creative thinking techniques, and creative problem solving models.
